Daisuke Maeda joined Konishi & Nakamura in 2003 and became a partner in 2015. Daisuke started his career as a
Patent & Trademark Attorney since 2005, and was certified as a litigator in terms of intellectual property in
2008. He specializes in trademark and design prosecution, domain name disputes, and intellectual property
litigation. His experience with trademarks and designs has helped many clients in various industries.
Daisuke is very active in social and pro-bono work as a core member of the Japan Patent Attorneys Association
(JPAA) and Tokai (Central Japan) Branch of JPAA. He frequently gives speeches to students at schools and
universities, as well as to businesspeople.
He is always seeking knowledge relevant to his work and striving to contribute to and enhance clients' IP
activities.
