On Tuesday, June 23, we will hold a seminar entitled “Key Issues in European Patent Practice That Often Cause Difficulties for Japanese Applicants.”

The lecturer will be Mr. Masaoki Ishiguro, a patent attorney qualified in both Europe and Japan. Mr. Ishiguro is active at AOMB in the Netherlands, representing not only European companies but also Japanese companies.

This seminar will focus on the problem-solution approach, the basic framework for assessing inventive step in European patent practice, and will explain practical points where Japanese applicants and Japanese patent attorneys often encounter difficulties.

The seminar will be held both in person and online. Please participate in whichever format is most convenient for you.
Those attending in person are also warmly invited to join the networking session after the seminar.
There is no participation fee.
